"Control Arm Bushings - Problem Solved!
As you are all well aware, Rubicon Express experienced a quality issue involving the Super-Ride Control Arm Bushings. We have actively addressed this issue and have resolved the problem! Thorough tests with engineering and outside consultants determined that the bushings in question, which were produced off-shore, contained filler material and other ingredients that were not specified for these parts, allowing the bushings to crack, tear and deform at a very unpredictable rate. (i.e.: some have failed very quickly while others have had an acceptable service life), the failures can be amplified by extremes in temperature and use, but were not consistent in any manner.

In order to solve the problem, Rubicon Express now manufactures all of the Super-Ride bushings at a local Northern California facility, using only premium domestic raw materials, strict specifications, and only the highest quality modern equipment. Our lab testing and our own in-house test procedures have recently revealed the new Super-Ride bushings are lasting 50 times longer than ever before. We are also proud to announce with this latest production change, more than 95% of our parts are manufactured in the USA!

Please be confident that all product and replacement bushings shipped on or after March 1st, 2010 contain the superior bushing material."

Interesting that I've had these issues lately. I know others have too.

Unless there was an original warranty specifically granted for the old ones......This says to me "be confident that when you buy new bushings they are better." Although, Jason has been know to sweet talk dealers before 8)
