West Side Royal Blue 5/2/09

We met in the Walmart shopping center to buy passes, those who showed up were; Jason and Harry C. in the TJ, John in his TJ, John's Dad Charlie in his XJ, Eli in his TJ, Scott B in his ZJ, Ben K in his Xj, and Jacob in his Ford Truck. Well it had been raining for quite some time before we got to the first hill climb which made things difficult. As Jacob in his Ford went up the first hill his ball joints failed and the axle shaft broke,after piecing it back together he made a smart choice to turn around but still rode along with Ben K. Other than that the only other real problems we had on the trail was that Eli's solenoid and battery terminal gave him some trouble but nothing major. In all it was a good ride and everyone came home safe. I'll let the others add as they want to about the details of the ride.

Good pics, the Highline TJ impressed me as I hadn't driven it yet. Didn't have to winch so that's great. Try to post up the video of the deep water crossing.

sounds like you're being lazy about posting the links and in the same breath implying we're lazy if we can't look up them ourselves....harumph!

haha actually craig I was using my new fancy phone to make that post this morning while at school, now that I am on a computer I can post the links.

I would suggest turning volume down on videos, not the best audio file ever.

By the way, Jeff is there no way to embed the videos into the page? or make them viewable from the site instead of directing away from the forum? or just make the videos to where they open as tabs instead of leaving the web page.

Not the YouTube video without security issues. Could do a seperate page from the website if you wish, we got unlimited space and bandwidth on the new server. Seems like I seen a mod for phpBB2 way back that let you add YouTube videos without having to allow HTML, will see if its still around. I don't see why it wouldn't be.

It didn't upload right. Plus I thought I had to limit the size of the video to post on youtube and some of the videos turned out to be pretty crappy resolution.
